We invite young researchers from St. Petersburg State University to participate in the workshop “Culture, Society and Memory: The Challenges of Historical and Sociological Research on Russia, Germany and the US” intends to open up a discussion forum between young scholars doing research in – and on – Russia, Germany and US. We welcome all contributions dealing with problems, changes, developments and discourses within the overall conference topic. The workshop offers an excellent opportunity to discuss research questions and challenges of individual dissertation projects in an interdisciplinary and international context.

We invite young scholars, working of their PhDs and MA Thesis towards European topics or  including European cases in comparative perspective (in cultural, social and humanitarian disciplines) to discuss their thesis on the CGES-Methodological Workshop, which will take place Saturday, 3rd of March 2012 (10:00-18:00) in the main office of the CGES.
